Hummingbird Festival (Day 3 of 3)

Join us for 1 or all 3 days of our annual Hummingbird Festival at George Owens Nature Park!  Fun for the entire family. A variety of presentations and activities will take place each day to help watch and learn about these amazing birds as they prepare for migration.  Free program (donations welcome). All ages welcome.
8am - 5pm Daily activities
8am - 10am Hummingbird banding with Josh, certified bird bander.  See these amazing birds up close!

11am - Inviting hummingbirds to your yard. Master Gardeners of Greater Kansas City.
3pm - Learn about hummingbird migration and pollination.
All day - Information on hummingbirds, native plants, feeders and crafts.

Most activities take place on paved surfaces.
