University of Missouri Extension Council

The Extension Council works with the University of Missouri on the Extension's educational programs as authorized by RSMo 262.550-262.623.

Membership Information

One Member is appointed by the Mayor in those cities of over 10,000 population for two year terms. The terms begin March 1. Two two-year terms are permitted and can then be repeated after being off the Extension Council for at least one year. See RSMo. 262.550-262.623 or H.B. 153 of the 71st General Assembly, passed in 1961.
